Thx Fei Goh!!!
Will Consider to use Bianco on my FXR. Hope yr AIR CURNUTT break-in ASAP, pls also try to reduce 5psi at the time with yr AIR CURNUTT, FOES info us that it will have very different feel after everything is bed in.
BTW, I don't need to do that with my XCT, I put 70psi in main chmaber, 65psi at the back. XTD full open and back for 1 full round. It never bobs at all if I am seated for long climbing.
Cheers,
Eric Yuen |

Yo, Eric
Re to Forks on FXR, what is your comments on FOX 40 RC2 using on it, is it too long for it's 8" travel and too heavy to climb up ? |

Hi Txlee,
Pls note that FXR is not designed for DOUBLE CROWN fork or anything more than 6" travel. If you do so the bike will be tiled to high on the front end, it is difficult to ride on flat & up hill, also it's warranty will be voided as well.
FOX40RC2 only can be used over DHS MONO or (marginally) used on FLY (Fly is designed for 7" Single Crown Fork)

Hi Eric,
You got a gorgeous XCT!!
I just took my FXR for another ride in China. Nam Kwan Shan and Tsang Zeng. All componenets the same except I change over to a coil Lyrik fork.
The Curnutt was really breaking in and everything felt much smoother than before.
I wonder if you have ridden that loose rocky DH trail in Nam Kwan Shan (with a big water pipe on your left). I went pedalling down on my FXR like a mad man Pretty scary but the Foes saved my ass.. the bike was so solid and stable. Wouldn't be able to at that speed with my previous Nomad. The FXR just rocks!! Here is a photo of her in dirt
Happy trail, Fei

Hi Fei Goh,
Wow! As seen fr the photo, I beleived that you've been pushing yr limit with yr FXR, hope she still has some hidden potential for you to discover underneather her skirt.
Anyway, FOES is needing someone like you & Ben to fully utilise the Bike, wish I can heal my (upper) back pain eventually and find more time to ride. In fact, my own 30.5lbs FXR has been finished Fiiiiinallllly. Ha! Ha!
Here we go. it
Ride On,
Eric Yuen |
